Announcment: Will the lady camped out on the lawn please pack up her bags and go home.
Dear Cindy Sheehan,
You really need to stop. I realize you are a grieving mother and you are exercising your freedom of speech. But it needs to stop. It is very sad when any soldier dies, but we are at war and this is what happens. You can’t honestly say that you never thought of the possibility of your son dying too when he went to war.
The president knows what he is doing so does the rest of his cabinet. They are trying to protect America from more deadly attacks not kill a whole bunch of sons and daughters.
The president has already heard what you have to say and has commented on it. Don’t think he is too sacred to talk to you because he most certainly is not. He should not have to talk to you. For one thing if he talks to you he will have to talk to everyone else and he has a job he needs to do, he can’t talk to everyone and he won’t. Also even if he did decide to speak to you, what would that prove? You would never be satisfied with his answers, whether they are right or wrong. Casey was a hero and America is grateful for his service in Iraq now please pack up your bags and go home.
